Things are changing here on the blog, again. There was a long break because of a few things, but part of what was keeping me out of this save is the story became overwhelming. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (especially when I'm creatively writing) and things weren't "adding up" the way I'd like them to have. Trying to force the story (as in make my sims do what the story needed them to do, vs what I, and them, wanted to do) was taking the fun out of it for me.
When I'm playing Sims, I always have stories in my head as I go.. but when it's *for me* and not for everyone, things don't have to add up, exactly. If my sim, who is usually a carefree-doesn't want kids - enjoys the night life, suddenly decides (thru her wishes or my direction I want to take the game) she wants to be a stay at home mommy or wife.. I don't have to neatly wrap that in a bow with "Why is she suddenly so different?"
It just happens. Sometimes, later on, why it happened will come to my story... sometimes it just happened and none of us know why. But with writing and sharing a story... I feel it all has to make sense and be relatable to you, the readers. And I began losing the fun of my story and my game.
So, in order to enjoy my game again (cause I love, love, love Kat and Madison and want to continue their story) I'm changing things. It's now going to be more of a "play by play" vs a "Creative storyline".
So... on with the "Story!"

The twins aged up the evening I started the game. (I truly despise those pigtails....)

Catherine got the first makeover. I was very tempted to check how her and Leonidas aged into YA, but I didn't as I have heard that can cause the age glitch and I don't want this save glitching out).

Leonidas got a larger version of his mom's nose.

Kat learned she was pregnant. It was very hard to ignore the wishes. I still don't want to know who the dad is yet. Thankfully, she had four wishes already and I just ignored the wish panel for everyone for the next couple sim days.

It doesn't seem like Kat is too pleased being pregnant again.

Since Kat had 7 days off (and Madison had 3) and with a little one on the way, they needed money so I had Kat spending some of her off time searching the galaxy. Made a few good discoveries.

Sunset Valley got an late snow that evening, and Madison called Dustin up for a date to the festival. She needed to get out of the house for a bit.

She was none too pleased when she learned that Dustin had gotten in a relationship (forgot who with... oops). They immediately argued and she called things off with him.

Saturday turned into a beautiful day, so I had the family go to the pier. Catherine and Leonidas had a shoot out.

While Mom and Madison hit some golf balls.

Before the sun set, they decided to play in the ocean.

Matthew came over to join them (I was surprised a non-controlled sim just came right over while the family was splashing away and he began splashing around with us).

They stopped by the festival and Madison, still feeling heartbroken over Dustin, decided she wanted a kiss.

Too bad neither was a great kisser, but Madison was happy all the same.

Madison went to tend to the other both, and Kat felt bad that no one came to Madison for a kiss, so she went and got a kiss from Madison.

As the sun was getting ready to set, the family was enjoying the Spring festival and dancing. Kat was really getting into it.

To end a great family day, they went to the fancy restaurant to have dinner.

Kat's baby had other plans. Kat went in labor as soon as she exited the building.

I sent her to the hospital alone, and sent Madison and the twins home. I purposely stayed away from the hospital. Kat had a boy, Zeke.
*Unfortunately, the baby daddy decided to follow Kat home... so, yeah, ruined my surprise and all that I had done to NOT know who the daddy was... but ya'll don't know... so.....*

That evening we got dang robbed! Kat hadn't had the extra money to buy an alarm... guess I should have made it a priority.

Stole the dang decorations off my kids room! Scum!
Kat got up as soon as the music started playing and called the police. I had very low hopes of the cops getting there in time.
*I edited these outdoors-nighttime shots. So if the color is wonky, that's why. I don't edit my sims photos, so I have no idea what I'm doing. All I tried to do was lighten them up cause they were very hard to see*

But the cop did get there in time. A confrontation ensued.

Unfortunately for Kat, the cop got his butt handed to him by the burglar!

And away the burglar goes with our stuff....

It wasn't until the next morning that I noticed the gapping hole in the room where our TV use to be. Damn thief!

That evening, hoping to improve the family's mood (stupid robbed moodlet), I sent Kat, Madison, and the twins to the park to have a picnic and enjoy some music.
*More "lightened" photos I edited. Only night time, outdoor photos. None of the rest*

Madison took the kids home, while Kat stopped at Pauline Wan's house. She is still pretty determined to find the dirt on Pauline.

This time she did find some information on Pauline. So she went and knocked on the door to confront Pauline.
Pauline was not pleased to have Kat knocking on her door.

The two were instantly bickering with one another.

Kat isn't one to put up with too much smack talk. And the girls ended up in a tussle.

At least Kat can kick some butt! Go Kat!
Kat's energy and hygiene tanked after the fight, so I sent her straight home.

Apparently, looking for monsters under your bed can lead to passing out. I never knew that.
Once Catherine woke up, she slept in bed with Mom. No way was she gonna sleep in her bed alone!

On Zeke's birthday, Kat and the boys went to City Hall to have a paternity test run to see who the father was.

Kat does NOT look to please to have to be going thru this. Thankfully all the boys was available this day, otherwise we would have had to wait until Leisure Day to try to get this to happen.
And... in order of how they exited the building....

Beau... you are NOT the father!

Seth... you are NOT the father!

Matthew... you ARE the father!

Zeke aged up (Oy vay... I hope he grows into those strong features!).
And since I couldn't NOT check to see if Zeke outgrows some of his father...
Zeke, now as a toddler....

Zeke aged up in CAS. At least he somewhat grows into his features. (sorry his eyes are closed. I usually don't make that big of a flub up!)

So, guys! Matthew is the father of Zeke. Wow, but are his features very strong! We need to start thinking of who is going to be our Next Gen Heir. I'd like ya'll to help me with that. Either comment here or on the forum with thoughts now (nothing has to be concrete right now... just what you think as of this moment). We'll probably do a proper poll or something when Zeke is at least a teen or when the twins become teens, almost YA. I'll list traits and all that then.
