Kat immediately regretted jumping into bed with Davon. She was far too focused on her career to settle down and she wasn’t even sure she liked Davon like that.
He was a great guy. Fun to hang out with. But she really couldn’t see herself settling with him long term. He just didn’t do it for her.
She began to explain to him that she just wanted to be friends, nothing more serious than that right now.

Needless to say, Davon was not too pleased with Kat. He did not take the news well, which just reinforced Kat’s decision.

The next morning, the girls didn’t even get to have breakfast together. Madison was running that and Kat burnt the waffles again. Madison left without eating and Kat just grabbed a quick meal of cereal.

After work, Kat headed to the local Dojo to practice Martial Arts for another career opportunity she had.

It didn’t take her long to earn her first belt. This might be something she spends more time on in the future. It felt good to get some aggression out on that dummy!

Soon as she got dressed to head home her stomach violently rolled and she had to run to the nearest bathroom!

Ugh! Now was not the time to get sick. She was so close to her next promotion and getting even closer to reaching the top of her career and becoming the Super Spy she dreams of.
Speaking of promotions. Madison bagged another one. She really had a knack for gaming!

She decided to treat herself to a massage to relax a bit after such a stressful day.

Once at home, she shared the good news with Kat. It was wonderful having someone that knew how much her career meant to her. Someone to share her goals, dreams, and accomplishments with. Who was as genuinely as happy as she was with each promotion she got.

It was already pretty late, and both girls had to be at work early the next morning, so they had a simple dinner together that Kat whipped up.

Madison played a little video games… ya know… research and all, before spending a bit of time with Loki and called it a night pretty early on.

Kat did some laundry and turned in herself. She was feeling very exhausted and wasn’t sure why….

Until about 2am, when she woke up to realize she was pregnant.

Kat was happy, really she was, but she was very worried she wasn’t ready to have a baby while she was so focused on her career.
Telling the big news to Madison the next morning made her feel much better.

Madison assured her, they were in this together. Kat didn’t have to worry about being a single mother with Madison around. The two of them together would conquer motherhood.

Just to get out of the house, and because Mommy’s deserved special pampering. Madison treated Kat to a package from the Spa.

Madison was very happy about Kat’s pregnancy, and took the time to rub her belly and talk to the baby after such a relaxing activity.

They stopped at the Art Gallery, and Madison just couldn’t get her mind off of the upcoming baby and all the things they’d need before he or she got here.

Kat really wanted to read the baby book “What Sims Should Expect When Expecting” so they didn’t stay at the Art Gallery long before heading to the Library. Madison took the time to read Totally Preggers. She needed to be just as informed as Kat if she had any hope of being helpful with the new baby.

While the girls were at the library, Madison snuck off to call a local contractor and have an addition put on the house for the baby. She knew that was one of Kat’s worries, where the baby would fit at the house. She even talked about them possibly moving.
But Madison knew Kat loved her little house with all its personality.

*Nursery Addition After Complete*
Madison picked the color blue, since Kat told her she hoped for a boy most of all.

Kat had a sudden craving for Spaghetti, so they headed to the Bistro and their favorite table.

After an early dinner, they headed to the festival and the girls competed in an apple bobbing contest that neither girl won. But it was fun anyways.

Kat left right after the contest to take a nap at home. Madison had never been inside the haunted house and figured now was the perfect time to go. Unfortunately, that is and will be the last time she goes thru the ghastly building. It did not end well for poor Madison.

Madison stopped at the consignment store to put some of her paintings on sale, then made a quick trip to the library to finish up Totally Preggers just to give Kat a bit more time to enjoy her nap in peace and quiet.

Once Madison got home, Kat was awake and watching some kids tv. They spent the evening just talking and enjoying the quiet, as they knew soon that would all change.

They called it a night. Even though Kat was on maternity leave, she was still trying to stay on schedule and Madison did have to work the next day.
Sleep didn’t last long, as Kat’s labor pains started about 2am.

What does Kat have? A boy or a girl? We’ll find out next time! :)
*A bit of a funny picture that didn’t make it’s way in the story but I still wanted to share. We are at Week 3, Day 4 and Kat is the only one to cook breakfast. She’s a cooking level 5 at this point. Yet every morning that she cooks breakfast, she burns the pancakes or waffles the first time. She doesn’t burn dinners, only pancakes or waffles… every… single… time.*
