Sunday night, while the girls were fast asleep an alien showed up! Apparently all that star searching put out a beacon screaming “Hey, come here!” (Sorry the pictures are so dark. I’ve noticed with my lighting mod, nighttime is pretty dark).
The girls never even knew he was here and completely obsessed with her flowers and mailbox!
The next morning, even though it was raining pretty heavily, Madison decided she wanted to jog to work.
Not sure how long jogging would take, Madison headed out as soon as she was ready for the day.
And, of course, she got there very early. What a better time then now to start a blog? She had everything going for her in her life. She had an awesome job and her own place – well, with an amazing friend as a roommate – what more could a girl ask for?!
Soon it was time for work. Madison was pretty close to her first promotion and she did not want to do anything to mess that up!
Kat got another promotion at work. Loki really needed some attention when she got home. Poor baby was about to climb the walls he was so lonely.
She still had a couple hours before Madison got home and was trying to find something to do with herself when she spotted the computer.
Ya know… Madison is always going on and on about video games. Heck, it’s her dream to design video games…
Kat wondered what all the hype with video games were about.
After a quick glance around, no one was looking but Loki, she quickly sat in front of the computer and loaded up SimCity, Madison’s favorite video game.
It was fun, but still not Kat’s cup of tea. She played for about 15 minutes then decided she’d rather call the cutie from the club last night.
Kat was pretty convinced that Pauline Wan, the lady that she got in the confrontation with her first week in town, was deep in the criminal world. She set out to rummage thru her dumpsters to see what kind of dirty she could find.
Maybe if she finds something concert, her boss, Justine Keaton, will back Kat in an arrest of Pauline.
Unfortunately, all she found was dirt on Pauline’s significant other, Hank Goddard.
Kat rushes home to write a report on Hank. It’s a step in the right direction, at any rate!
As soon as Madison is home, the girls share their news. Both girl’s got promoted today!
They make plans to go celebrate as soon as they get the chance. Both girls are pretty tired and just want to relax at home and call it an early night.
Kat is the first to go to bed. Madison spends a bit more time straightening up the house when she hears a noise outside and goes to investigate.
She’s a bit surprised when she finds an alien on her porch! She quickly introduces herself!
I’d say the meeting isn’t going so well. Madison and Ninidash Exipeth seem to have a disagreement about Ninidash nosing around Madison and Kat’s home.
Madison goes inside, but Ninidash does not immediately leave. She was here to collect data, and data she would collect!
Both girls left for work early the next day. Madison had to be at work very early, nearly before the sun fully came out!
And both girls got another promotion! Double the cause to celebrate!
And that’s where we end this part! The girls are really doing so well in their careers. They work hard everyday. As a result, they usually come home in not the best mood, but they are pretty career focused as of this point in time.
In the next part, we’ll go out and celebrate double promotions and seems to me, there are men in their future. What will happen to this friendship when men are introduced?
