The girls set out to what was becoming their customary celebration. They start with dinner at their favorite restaurant, The Bistro.

They stopped at Varg’s Tavern for a quick drink.

And couldn’t resist a game of foosball.

They didn’t stay too long, as both girls had to be at work early the next morning. Kat stopped by Justine’s house on the way home.
She didn’t have any plans to ring the doorbell.
She was on a mission. There had to be a reason that Justine Keaton didn’t listen to Kat’s theories on Pauline Wan being middle in the under belly of the criminal presence in this town.
Justine had to be mixed in it, too.
A quick dip in her bins would surely lead to some good information if Kat was on the right track.

Unfortunately, Kat’s dive session turned up nothing but a bit of funk, some scrap, and a bubble bath.
Ohh… the girls could use that bubble bath!
Madison went straight home from Varg’s to do some painting that her career wanted her to do.

The next day, Kat got another promotion… ahead of Justine Keaton. Justine wasn’t too thrilled about that, but Kat was glad for it. She’d get to the bottom of it if Justine is involved in any fashion.

They even gave her her own cop car to drive around town! Now she could stop taking them expensive taxi’s everywhere!
She looked good in that car, too… even if she did say so herself!

Kat was pretty stressed over the work day and headed to the spa to unwind with a deep-tissue massage.

She sent Madison a quick text to meet her at the diner for dinner for an impromptu celebration of her newest promotion.
While she was there, she read up on the book for the opportunity she received.

Kat wasn’t alone long, when Parker Langerak came over and started cozying up to her. Seems like ol’ Parker boy likes a woman in uniform!

Which did not please Pauline Wan. Not really sure if it was the fact that he cozied up to someone or if it was more WHO he cozied up to.

It didn’t take Pauline long to give Kat a piece of her mind, too.

Which severely ticked Kat off….

And we all know where that led… (Ah, music to kick ass to...)

Kat was on even more of a mission to find dirt tying Pauline and her “friends” to the crimes in Sunset Valley. Madison headed home, but Kat had another stop to make… the Steel house.

If Christopher Steel were a bit more observant, Kat might’ve been in trouble. Lucky for her, he had other things on his mind.

Festival day arrived again. The girls enjoyed breakfast together, even though Kat burned the waffles the first go around.

Kat had to get started on the report of Christopher Steel. She found some letters that tied him to the recent string of burglaries. Unfortunately, nothing tying Pauline to any of it.
Kat was beginning to wonder if all the woman in town were clean as a whistle or just smart enough to cover all their tracks and let the men take the fall.

Madison headed to the cemetery to meet up with Dustin Langerak for an work-related opportunity she had.

She and Dustin seemed to really hit it off.

Back at the house, Kat was interested in connecting with her own romantic interest. The hottie from the club, Davon. She called him up and asked him if he’d like to meet her at the festival.

Dustin and Madison made their way to the festival. Madison took the opportunity to ask Dustin to dance, even though Dustin stepped on her toes as much as he didn't.

Davon showed up a bit later, about the time the rain started. Kat and Davon didn’t seem to mind, as they chatted in the rain.

The two really seemed to get along together pretty well.

Madison and Dustin decided to get out of the rain and go to Varg’s.

Madison was getting a bit tired, but Dustin talked her into one game of pool before she called it a night.

Kat and Davon decided to go to the Grind to get out of the rain.
Kat ordered them drinks, but Davon was pretty wrapped up in dancing, so she grabbed a bite to eat.

Kat was feeling particularly frisky. She hadn’t had a boyfriend – hell, any male attention – since moving to Sunset Valley.
She strolled up to Davon, while he was dancing, and joined him.

So wrapped up in the moment, and the warm bubbling feeling in her stomach – which, let’s be honest, could have been the drink she had earlier – she just went for it and gave Davon a heat of the moment kiss.

He returned her kiss, and they became completely absorbed in each other.

Before Kat really had a moment to think, they rushed back to her house and went straight to the bedroom.

And this is where we are ending this part! Come back to find out how well this goes over once Kat is thinking more clearly!
*Kat was just minding her own business reading her book for a work opportunity when the action X’d out and “cuddle” popped up. Parker came over and began cuddling her. I’ve never seen that happen before and got a good chuckle out of Pauline’s reaction to it. Pauline is with Hank Goddard in my game – though she could have some kind of romantic interest in Parker, no clue. And Pauline queued up to mock Kat as soon as she got out of the restaurant with Madison. It was too perfect to pass up!*
