This will be a shorter, less detailed chapter since when I took the screenshots I hadn’t planned to share the girl’s story. Since the first week was only “documented” to share with the other simmers playing with me. But these two girl’s have quickly captured my heart. I just love how quickly they connected and how well they get along. Even their wishes tend to line up with each other.
Also, I’ve been out of the writing loop for many a years, so it’ll take me a bit to find my groove again. Just bear with me. : )
And on to Kat’s story!
Kat Silver just moved to Sunset Valley. Her dreams of becoming a Super Spy were closer than ever. Sunset Valley was well known in her home world, Barnacle Bay, as being the most crime ridden area in all SimLand.
Once she got everything unpacked, she headed out to get her job and meet some town people.

At the local park, she meet several women.

One particular woman, Madison VanWatson, she hit it off with instantly. They quickly become good friends.

Madison agreed to show Kat around town, so they hit the theater first for a tour.

And before you know it, they were sharing every hope and dream they had.
Madison dreamed of being a video game designer, but once Kat told Madison about her dreams to become a Super Spy, Madison informed Kat that the library was a good place to research each family’s history. There was an historical archive on every family in town.

The girl’s finished their day out with dinner at the diner.

Kat needed a roommate and Madison would never be able to achieve her dream career living with her family. They felt video games were for slackers. So Kat had a brilliant idea.
Madison should move in with her. The two already felt like they’d known each other for years instead of simply hours.
Madison quickly agreed!
Once back at home, Madison got a quick makeover, something her parents wouldn’t let her do. She died her hair and tried a new style.
- Before
- After
The next morning, Kat got up early for her first day of work. Madison did a bit of galaxy searching to make a bit of cash to help with bills, but quickly found her way to the computer to play video games (It *was* research, after all!).

The next couple days were filled with more galaxy searching and video game playing for Madison. If she had any hope of getting level 10 Nerd to be offered her dream job, she had to really buckle down and learn everything she could about the newest games on the market.

Kat stopped by the festival often after work to munch on some sinfully delicious French fries!

On Wednesday, the girl’s decided they needed to get out of the house for a bit and went to dinner together at the diner.
Once they exited the diner, Kat heard Pauline Wan popping off about police officers in town being low life’s. Kat couldn’t let that slide.

It quickly escalated into a full on confrontation!

The confrontation killed the fun, easy going vibe the girl’s had, so they called it a night and went home.
The next day was leisure day and the girl’s decided to go enjoy the festival that was in town.

As evening wore on, Madison really wanted to go swim in the ocean, something she rarely got to do living in her parents’ house. Kat was quick to agree. That sounded like fun!

The girl’s talked about how much fun a water slide for their house would be, and decided… why not! Let’s buy one! So they quickly left to purchase the slide and go home and enjoy it before summer ended.

That evening, Madison realized she was very close to being the Level 10 Nerd and figuring out the last of the video games she needed to get her dream career. With that in mind, she decided to give herself a more serious makeover.

Friday evening brought Kat her next promotion. She was now a Traffic Officer!

And even though neither girl was particularly artistic, they really enjoyed jamming on the guitar’s together and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to celebrate with some good tunes!

*As we wrap up Friday evening, Madison is very, very close to getting Level 10 Nerd that she needs*
