Kat got an opportunity to become friends with her neighbor, Jack, so she rushed next door and gave him a chat while Madison called it a night and went to bed early.
The next morning, Kat successfully made pancakes on the first try again. Her cooking just might be improving. Good thing, the twins will definitely need good meals to eat. It’s not healthy for them to eat out as often as the girls have been.
That afternoon, Kat earned another promotion. Promotions were getting more and more scarce since the twins came along. Since Rueben was with the twins, she figured she’d stop by a new club for a quick drink to celebrate. Madison was still working, so it would be just Kat.
And just guess who was there when Kat pulled up.
Words were quickly exchanged. These two can’t seem to be in the same vicinity without going at each other’s throats.
That little scuffle killed Kat’s mood for a drink.
She was fired up and needed to take out some aggression, so she headed to the gym. She didn’t want to be around her kids when she was this worked up.
Madison made it home and began working to teach Leonidas to talk.
After running on the tread mill for an hour, Kat had calmed down and went home. Seeing Madison working with Leonidas, Kat began teaching Catherine to talk.
Once Catherine started getting cranky, Kat decided a break was in order. Since she had just got promoted, she decided to throw a party to celebrate. It was the perfect time to invite the new cute guys to the house.
Seth Westmoore showed up and brought Kat flowers. How sweet! :)
Beau came in to say hello.
Seth must have wanted to make sure Kat knew he was still in the room, cause he gave her another bundle of flowers.
Beau knew when to take a leave, so he went in the living room and asked Madison to dance.
But Madison wasn’t interested in just dancing with one man. She hadn’t got to really let her hair down and she wanted to just enjoy the day.
Matthew was taking advantage of the… cold weather?... and using the water slide? Really, son… that’s what you do when a hot girl invites you to a party?
When Seth backed off a minute, Beau swooped in for a couple quick flirts.
Seth didn’t back off too far. He asked Kat to dance as soon as Beau walked away.

The party quickly wound down after that and guest began leaving.
Once the last guest was gone, the girls took the chance to begin teaching Leonidas and Catherine to walk.

The girls headed to work the next day. Tonight was Kat’s birthday and they intended to celebrate, but still wasn’t sure how.
Soon as she got home, Kat spent some quality time with the twins. Today was her birthday, but their own birthday’s weren’t too far away.
Kat worked on an opportunity she had to search the galaxy while she waited for Madison to get off work.
Once Madison was home, the girls decided on going to their customary dinner at The Bistro and then stop at The Grind for some dancing and drinks.
Both girls changed clothes and gussied up. Kat was feeling a bit edgy. She was turning into an adult today. Her youth would be behind her. Her twins were nearly children. What had she done with her life other than raise children, try to prove corrupt in Sunset Valley, and rise in her career?
She hadn’t really experienced love.
Not the true kind.
Would she ever?
She never seen the twins dad. He didn’t even come around to visit them. As soon as she told him she only wanted to be friends, he exploded and disappeared.
Hell, she hadn’t even seen him in town. Maybe he moved. She really couldn’t say.
She shook off thoughts of him. Tonight was about having fun. And she fully intended to cut loose.
A quick dinner at the quiet Bistro and the girls headed to The Grind.
Kat does not look impressed with her drink.
The girls spent a good bit of time just dancing and enjoying the music.
Next thing you know, it’s Kat’s birthday. And guess who happened to be at the club and rushed over to celebrate with her!
Wow. Now Kat was officially an adult. She felt mixed emotions about that.
But at least her birthday had some amazing eye candy. There was no harm in flirting…
Right?
Maybe it was the bubbled getting to her head or the bright light shining on Beau making him look sexier than sin and twice as tempting, but Kat let the atmosphere get to her head and she wasn’t making the best decisions.
Kat and Beau couldn’t help put giggle at their wild behavior.
Kat called it a night and headed home. Madison had beat her home, put the twins to bed and crawled in bed herself. Kat needed to do the same. She felt a bit embarrassed by her actions this evening.
Kat is really getting the knack for cooking breakfast! No burnt breakfast again this morning. She felt pretty good today. She had the next two days off and needed to go report in her findings with the galaxy search at the Science Center today.
She called Reuben but he was unable to come sit with the twins. He recommended a new girl in town, Trinity Love.
While she was inside waiting for the CEO to get out of a meeting, she remembered the day that she met Matthew that he told her about his love of Simbots. He’s love the Simbot display here at the Science Center, so she shot him a text and invited him over to tour it with her.
Matthew was touched that Kat had thought of him and appreciated the gesture. Being new in town was never easy.
Kat isn’t sure how it happened. One minute Matthew was going on and on about how Simbots were created and the next she was jumping his bones behind the Simbot exhibit.
The left feeling pretty good.
But Kat had to end the outing. She needed to go home and spend time with the twins and maybe try to make sense of her rash decisions lately.
That evening, after spending more time training the twins, her phone rang. She was half tempted to let it go to voicemail but if it was a lead on one of her ongoing cases, she needed to know.
Turns out, it was Seth. Congratulating her on her birthday and inviting her out to dinner and a movie.
At first the date seemed innocent enough. She thanked Seth for dinner but he quickly began flirting with her. And next thing you know….
Where on earth was Kat’s head?
They headed to the movie’s but only made it about 10 minutes into it before they turned the G rated show into something not appropriate for children.
Kat hated to make excuses to leave, but she really, really needed to get home and get her head on straight. No way an adult birthday should have any sane person acting this way.
Did she want to be with any of the three guys?
She wasn’t sure. It just felt good to be desired after spending so much of her time focused on everything but her.
The next morning, she woke to a house in shambles. Loki had gotten sick on the carpet, the computer was broken, there was a dinner plate from last night left on the table, and laundry was starting to pile up.
After Kat had the twins taken care of and happily playing together with the doll house in their room, she began cleaning the house. But something must not have agreed with her, as she got terribly sick to her stomach and had to make a mad dash for the bathroom…
