**I’m changing the format up a bit on the blog. The picture will now come before the text about it. And I’ve stuck with mostly plot and away from dialog, because dialog is a bit harder for me to get the right voice for each sim, but I might sprinkle a bit of dialog here and there until I can really find their voices.
Again, bear with me as I get my writing legs back. **

Very early that morning, with the first snowfall of winter, the girls loaded into Kat’s cruiser and headed to the hospital to welcome the baby into their sim world.
The girls were ready to embark on the next, biggest, adventure of their lives.

They just had no idea how BIG of an adventure it would end up being.

Welcome a bouncing baby boy, Leonidas to the world.

And his twin sister, Catherine!

It was nearing 5am when the girls got the twins home and they were still pretty tired. Madison had work in a few hours, but Kat was on her last maternity leave day off.

Madison: “I am so proud of you and you’re going to be an amazing, Mom.”
Kat: “I couldn’t do it without you!”

Kat followed her idea. She knew she’d have to take naps as she could with the twins around now. Kat was a bit worried when she first found out she was pregnant.
Would she be a good mother?
Would her career suffer? Would her children suffer because of her career?
How was she going to do all this?
But, Madison really has stepped up and made her feel better. She knew Madison had her back, no matter what she did.
Plus, there were working Mom’s every day that had great, bonded relationships with their kids.
*Apparently Kat heard me talking mess on her cooking. The next morning, for the first time ever, she did not burn breakfast the first time! Good job, Kat!*

Mid-morning Kat was pleased to learn that she received a hefty bonus from work! She now had enough money to invest in some properties in town and what better way to make sure her children were provided for then give them a steady stream of income for years to come?
She quickly feed, changed, and gave the twins lots of cuddling.

Jamie Jolina told her about an amazing teen babysitter while she was pregnant, she just didn’t think she’d need one quite so soon. But to be honest, she was feeling very compelled to get things done today. So she called Reuben Montano to come keep an eye on the twins while she ran a couple errands. He was a bit eccentric. We’d have to see how this works out.

Kat promptly headed out to the grocery store to become a partner. Business #1 partnered down!

With that done, she stopped by the library to read up on a few more families in town. Specifically, the Hart family. She’s heard buzz around the water cooler that they tended to live above their means and to Kat, that meant dirty business somewhere in their lives.

After getting lost in the Hart history, Kat sent a quick text to Reuben to check on the twins before heading to the festival to see who she’d find there. She found a few discrepancies in the Hart history and wanted to see if people had more information that seemed to be missing.

Her old boss, Justine – pregnant as ever – was there. She might know some info on the Hart’s. Now if she’d tell is another matter. Kat took the chance and questioned her.

Justine didn’t have any solid info and hesitated to mention anything. Next she questioned Lisa Bunch, who also mentioned that the Hart's and the Kennedy's were very tight. She also mentioned that Bebe was roaming around in the park somewhere.

Kat found Bebe on the skating rink. She called her over and made small talk before questioning her. She casually mentioned the Kennedy's.
Bebe: "The Kennedy's are nice people. We don't hang out much, though."
Hmmm... Kat found that interesting. Everyone else she spoke to assured her that the Hart's and Kennedy's were pretty tight friends.

Kat felt she had a decently solid lead. It was getting to be quitting time for Madison, so she sent her a quick text to meet at the festival for a sinful dinner. Kat felt Madison might need a break from baby duty. She’d been a trooper helping out.

It was a nice break, but they quickly headed home.
Reuben had done a very good job with Leonidas and Catherine. The girls spent a bit of time watching tv and catching up about their days, before seeing to the twins needs and heading to bed.

The next day Kat decided to jog home. The temperature was fairly decent out and the snow was so beautiful. Plus, she did some great thinking while working out. She was still trying to piece together the pieces of the Hart/Kennedy connection with the recent thefts in the area.

Kat gave her three babies the love and attention they needed, not forgetting her four legged child in the process of “after work” lovings.

Madison: “Today was a pretty good day at work. I’m very close to my next promotion, what do you say we hit the town since we both have tomorrow off?”
Kat: Yawns, “I’d love to Madison, but I’m dead on my feet. I think I’m going to stay home and get a bit of rest. Tomorrow we’ll hire Rueben and go out.”
Madison was a bit heartbroken, but understood. She really wanted to get out of the house and celebrate. She was climbing the career ladder so fast, she knew she’d be the youngest video game designer in her building. She just knew it!

Madison called Dustin. She couldn’t remember what time he got off work, but he usually always was up for a night out.

Kat let Madison borrow her car to save on the taxi cost, since Dustin agreed to meet her at the Grind.

Kat immediately caught a nap on the couch since the twins were fast asleep in their cribs. Being a mom sure killed a sleep schedule…

Madison and Dustin were having a blast but Madison still missed Kat. She knew with the pregnancy and now that the twins were here things were going to be a bit different, but she really worried that she was going to lose her best friend.
Suddenly she began feeling very vulnerable and lonely, regardless that Dustin was mere inches away from her.
What if Kat and Madison never were like they used to be? What would Madison do then?

Without any good thought in her head on why she did it, Madison gave Dustin a heat of the moment kiss.
*And that’s where we end it today! Madison is acting pretty out of character, who knows where this behavior will lead.*
**Since Kat had the twins, what do you guys think… Should Kat have the third and final child allowed in this Legacy, or should Madison have the last baby? Tell me what ya’ll think! There's a link on the forums with a poll to vote who should have the last baby! :) **
